Re: Garden Thread - March 2015
Stepped out of the garden today so I could be on the loan for DH's truck. I'm thinking the CU must use Fico 04 or something else because I finally hit 700 on EX yesterday and she had me at 643! We obviously did not get the best interest rate (5.65%) but we will refinance in a couple of years. At least I will have something other than revolving credit on my reports.

Gardening is continuing on smoothly... rewarding myself with a brief trip to Chattanooga, TN for a couple days while I'm on vacation from work (paid too). Tennessee Aquarium, here I come! I was rather shocked though when I was searching hotels. 10 hotels in the area were booked solid for the days I wanted, but there is nothing going on up there as far as major events go. Managed to get a decent hotel still.
Beautiful part of the country!
It's been way too long since we've been there.
I'm very envious. I know you'll enjoy yourself.
oh, I plan on it.It's been a rough month for me, but I still have my life, my family, and my job, so hey, no complaints necessary.Rain or shine, I'm all for a Chattanooga visit as there are quite a few indoor things to do there, if it does end up raining as predicted. It will take a few hours to get through both buildings of the Aquarium (Aside from the original River Journey building, they have Ocean Journey now too.)
Njoy your visit - I hope our city treats you well..... The aquarium is quite awesome. Our downtown area stays fairly well booked, there are always small events (indoor and outdoor) that keep our hotels and downtown restaurantsbusy Hope you have a great time!

Yay! My Cap One now shows the QS card image instead of the QS1!
So that's fun. Hopefully, in 6 months, that will say "World MasterCard" instead of "Platinum MasterCard"

Re: Garden Thread - March 2015
Still gardening.. one month countdown to gold spade *yay*
Just did my 3x (180 day) on Amex... I only asked for $15,000because for gosh sakes that's way more than enough;I have way too much available credit at the moment so I'm closing 2 accounts (sent an SM). I went a little app crazy last June, July so I sadly have a report full of accounts that are never used and less than a year old so I'll keepthem open for nowand then weed 'em out periodically.
What do you do when you reach the place that you have no credit activities to do?

Re: Garden Thread - March 2015
Awesome, Sunrise!
Still gardening myself, and still reading and absorbing as much as I can around here. About to help my girlfriend start her credit journey - she just got her first credit card, a $300 secured Wells fargo card. So glad to be able to help her avoid my mistakes on her way to excellent credit.
